Preview
The Argentina national team in the first round of the group stage was the main disappointment, losing (1-2) to Saudi Arabia and thus calling into question their ability to qualify for the playoffs.
However, the team showed character in the duel with Mexico, defeating the opponent (2:0). With the same score, but without problems, the Argentines dealt with Poland.

The England team tried to put up resistance in the quarter-finals and even came close to taking the fight to extra time, but missed the penalty and were eliminated from the tournament.
The French team played its toughest match in the semi-finals. Despite a fairly confident (2-0) victory, France had problems.
The Moroccans put crazy pressure on their goal, did not create full-fledged scoring chances, but kept the French defense in suspense until the second goal.

Messi and Mbappe each have five goals in this tournament and are leading the fight for the Golden Boot.
Messi opened the scoring in four 2022 World Cup matches in Argentina and scored or assisted in both of his previous matches against France.
Mbappé has already scored nine goals in World Cups, two of them against Argentina in 2018.
