Bayern Munich reach agreement on Sommer transfer

Borussia Gladbach goalkeeper Jan Sommer will soon be officially announced as a Bayern player. The club agreed a deal for €8 million euros.

As you know, Bayern Munich is actively looking for a new goalkeeper after Neuer broke his leg while skiing.

The transfer is expected to cost 8 million euros. The club will receive another 1.5 million as bonus payments. On January 18, the player will undergo a medical examination to complete the transfer. The clubs will then make a statement.

It is also known that Borussia Mönchengladbach did not want to sell their starting goalkeeper and the club turned down four offers and forced Bayern to nearly double their offer.

The goalkeeper will undergo a course of treatment, after which he will become the main goalkeeper of Bayern until the end of the season.

The goalkeeper has played 11 matches for Borussia this season. In four of them, he kept his net clean.
