Gareth Bale announces retirement from football

Welsh striker Gareth Bale has announced his retirement from football. He wrote about this on the page in the social network.

At 33 years-old, Bale announced that he would be hanging up his boots, both at club and international level.

As you know, the captain of the national team recently represented his country at the 2022 World Cup in Qatar. The football player scored 41 goals in 111 matches for his country.

The 33-year-old Welshman’s last club was Los Angeles in the MLS, which he joined in July 2022 and where the player won the MLS Cup.

Before that, Gareth Bale played for Real Madrid, Tottenham and Southampton. Together with Real Madrid, the player won the Champions League 5 times.
