Jose Mourinho will remain as Roma head coach until at least the summer of 2024.
The 60-year-old Portuguese’s contract with the Italian club will end in the summer of 2024 and Mourinho is not in the mood to make adjustments despite offers from other clubs and even internationals.
The coach thoroughly assessed all options and decided to continue his journey with Roma, as stipulated by the agreement.
The specialist plans to meet with management soon to discuss strategy for next season.
Mourinho took over as Roma manager in 2021. This season, the Italian team is in 5th place in the Serie A standings with 47 points in the asset.
In his first season at the helm of Roma, the Portuguese specialist won the Conference League, becoming the first manager to win every European competition.
