The fourth racket of the world Spanish tennis player Rafael Nadal reached the semi-finals of Wimbledon 2022.
In the quarterfinal match, Nadal defeated the 11th seeded American Taylor Fritz with a score of 3:6, 7:5, 3:6, 7:5, 7:6 (10:4). The meeting lasted 4 hours and 20 minutes.

Nadal fired five times, made five double faults and converted seven of 14 break points. Fritz completed 19 aces, made a mistake three times on the pitch and converted eight break points.
The best achievement of the 24-year-old Fritz in the Grand Slam tournaments was the 1/8 finals of the Australian Open – 2022. At Wimbledon, he had not previously gone beyond the third round.
For reaching the final, Nadal will play with Australian Nick Kyrgios.
The total prize pool of the current Wimbledon was £40,350,000. The reigning champion of the competition is Serb Novak Djokovic.
