Newcastle have confirmed the signing of Anthony Gordon, who will arrive at the new club from Everton for £40m.
The 21-year-old joins a £40m deal. The football player missed training three times, trying to get a transfer to a new club.
Newcastle have spent serious money signing the Everton player as the club struggle for a place in the Champions League this season.
“Since I heard of the interest, I was always convinced Newcastle were for me. I think the fan base and the city really suits me as a person, the way the team are playing under the gaffer at the minute really suits me, and the club just look like they’re heading in the right direction. I feel like it’s a really big step. People haven’t seen what I’m capable of yet. I think under the gaffer, and the way the club’s going, I can really excel here.”Anthony Gordon
The club is currently 3rd in the Premier League table after 20 matches played. The club is also in contention for victory in the Carabao Cap.
In the next Premier League match against West Ham, the player can play for a new club. The player will not be able to play in the cup against Southampton.
