Neymar equals Pele’s all-time Brazil goal record

Neymar is now Brazil’s all-time leading scorer after equaling the record of the legendary Pelé.

As you know, Pelé has scored 77 goals in 92 matches for Brazil since his debut at the age of 16 in 1957.

Neymar has been with Brazil since 2010 and scored his 77th goal in extra time against Croatia in their 2022 World Cup quarter-finals.

In total, Neymar played 123 matches for Brazil, in which he gave 56 assists. The tournament in Qatar was the 3rd World Championship for the 30-year-old striker.

Pelé made 92 appearances for Brazil and scored 77 goals. The football player became the world champion three times, participating in 4 mundials.
