Novak Djokovic prevails against Sebastian Korda for the title in Adelaide

Novak Djokovic won in a tough battle against Sebastian Korda, taking the title in Adelaide and making a successful return to Australia.
In the final of the competition, Djokovic with a score of 6:7 (8:10), 7:6 (7:3), 6:4 beat the 33rd racket of the world, American Sebastian Korda. The meeting lasted 3 hours and 8 minutes.
The day after the Serbian tennis player overwhelmed Daniil Medvedev in the semi-final , despite a hamstring injury, Djokovic moved freely around the court and succeeded.
Djokovic fired seven times, made four double faults and converted two of seven break points. The 22-year-old Korda has 15 aces, four double faults and one realized break point out of two earned.
“I hope you enjoyed the show tonight,” Djokovic said. “I want to say a few words to Seb and his team. Amazing tournament, amazing effort today. I’ll probably say that you were closer to the victory today than I was.
Novak is aiming for a record 10th Australian Open title at the January 16-29 tournament to equal Rafael Nadal in 22 Grand Slam titles.
The prize fund of the tournament in Adelaide amounted to $642,735. Djokovic will receive more than $94,000 and 250 rating points for the victory.
