Novak Djokovic continues to impress. In the fourth round, Novak defeated Australian Alex De Minaura – 6:2, 6:1, 6:2. The opponent was not helped even by the problems of the Serbian with the hip, because of which he clearly experienced discomfort in previous matches.
After the game with De Minaur, Novak stated that he felt fantastic. But it was clear even before his comments. The Serbian tennis player was clearly better and advanced to the next round.
Earlier in the tournament bracket, the Serb beat Roberto Carballes Baena, Enzo Coco and Grigor Dimitrov. Djokovic is known to have won the Australian Major nine times in his career.

Andrey Rublev reached the quarterfinals of the Australian Open for the seventh time. On Monday, Andrey won, perhaps, the most epic victory in his career. The Russian beat Holger Rune – 6:3, 3:6, 6:3, 4:6, 7:6.
In the fifth set, the Dane did not serve the match with the score 5:3. And at 5:6, Rublev won back a double match point. In the decisive tie-break, Rune led 5-0, but even this advantage was not enough for him.
Rublev, of course, is also a little shocked after such an enchanting victory. At the end of the fifth set, no one had any doubts that the Russian would lose, but it turned out the other way around.
Earlier in the tournament bracket, Andrey defeated Dominic Thiem, Emil Ruusuvori and Daniel Evans. As you know, during his career, the Russian only once reached the quarterfinals – in 2021.

Prediction
Novak Djokovic win 1.14 | Andrey Rublev win 5.75 |
Djokovic scored a good move. With each match, the Serbian tennis player only adds and the 1/8 final match turned out to be easy for Novak – he gave De Minaur only five games per game.
Against such a Djokovic, Rublev should hardly count on anything. Moreover, the last face-to-face confrontation between tennis players, which took place last year as part of the Final Tournament, ended with a confident victory for Novak in straight sets.
Prediction: Djokovic to win in four sets.
