Meanwhile, AS Roma will play their second European final in a row, having won the Conference League title last season under José Mourinho.
The team was very difficult in the playoffs, but despite this they managed to reach the final. First, the yellow-reds beat Salzburg on aggregate (0:1, 2:0).
In the 1/8 stage, Roma confidently beat Real Sociedad with a score (2:0, 0:0), and in the quarterfinals, the Italian club was stronger than Feyenoord only in extra time (0:1, 4:1).
The semi-final was even more difficult for the team, as the German side Bayer imposed a struggle in both games, and in some moments were even stronger, but failed to score, which allowed Roma to reach the final.
